JCC&A joins the landscape architecture firm of Quennell Rothschild & Partners on the creative planning team chosen by New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to reinvigorate Far Rockaway Park, located in a largely immigrant neighborhood in Queens, New York. The project is part of a citywide program to develop eight regional destination parks within the city’s five boroughs. The team will engage Rockaway residents in the park’s development process in order to build public enthusiasm and connect diverse users with a full range of park programs and play experiences.
