Cambodian Connections

JCC&A was invited by Antenna Audio, a wholly owned subsidiary of Discovery Communications, to serve as government and community liaison at Angkor World Heritage Site. This project builds on our nearly six years of work with local residents and authorities to enhance interpretation at two temples within Angkor Park, the twelfth-century monastery of Preah Khan and the tenth-century temple mount of Phnom Bakheng.

Meeting with Khmer leadership to introduce the project's goals and methodologies made good business sense for Antenna, and it also reflects JCC&A's commitment to community participation and active communication--two hallmarks of our comprehensive approach to interpretation. This project revives our collaboration with Antenna Audio; JCC&A and Antenna previously collaborated on audio tours for museum exhibitions.
