New Buildings, New Visitor Experiences
Brooklyn Children's Museum and the Currier Museum of Art

JCC&A is consulting on interpretation projects for two museums with new buildings planned to open in 2008.
At the Brooklyn Children's Museum, JCC&A is working with staff to prototype an innovative suite of new programs designed to animate the new World Brooklyn exhibition, a 4,000-square-foot permanent exhibition designed for the expanded museum. The exhibition will encourage families to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of Brooklyn as home to people of many different cultures and countries.
The Currier Museum of Art is in the process of a 30,000-square-foot expansion project which includes new galleries that will allow the museum to exhibit more of its collection.
To guide the reinstallation and interpretation of the museum’s collections, JCC&A is working with museum staff and stakeholders to develop a new visitor experience and learning strategies for the expanded museum.
