JCC&A coordinated and Jane Clark Chermayeff co-chaired Growing by Design, the 40th annual IDCA. More than 1,500 professionals participated in the five-day conference exploring the critical intersections of design and child development. Speakers included the education expert Jerome Bruner, author Leo Lionni, and advocate Marian Wright Edelman. Younger participants designed and directed adults in building a micropolis of found objects.
