The WMF is conserving Phnom Bakheng and Preah Khan, one of the largest and best-known monuments in Angkor. JCC&A directed the interpretive and site planning strategies for this comprehensive effort—the first at Angkor to integrate interpretation and conservation. Project successes include a book publication and the park-wide model: the Preah Khan Visitor Center, which opened in February 2009.
